Little Soles

Little Soles is a marketplace where parents buy and sell kids' shoes from each other. This page explains what we collect, why we collect it, and what you can do about it. Plain language, no fine print games.
Little Soles is operated by Firmware Foundation Studios. If you have a privacy question, contact us at the email in the Contact section below.
Account info. Your name and email when you sign up. A password, stored only as a secure hash, if you sign up with email. If you use Sign in with Apple or Google instead, we store the account identifier those services give us, not a password.
Kids' sizes, entered by you. The shoe sizes and a first name or nickname you add for your kids, so the app can show the right listings and send size-match alerts. This is optional. The app works without it, and you can remove it anytime. We do not ask children to use the app or enter their own information.
Listings and orders. What you list, buy, sell, offer, and favorite, plus shipping details needed to complete an order.
Basic technical info. Standard app and device information needed to keep the app running and secure, such as error logs. Used to operate and fix the app, not to profile you.
Payments are processed by Stripe. When you pay or get paid, Stripe handles your card and bank details directly. We do not store your full card number. Stripe's handling of that data is covered by Stripe's own privacy policy.
Selling on Little Soles is free. Buyers pay an LS Protect fee on each order (7% of the item price plus $0.70), shown as its own line at checkout. That fee funds the LS Protect promise: a refund or credit if an item is not as described.
We share only what is needed to run the service:
We do not share your data for advertising. We do not sell it.
We keep your account info while your account is open. When you delete your account, we remove your personal data, except where we are legally required to keep a record, such as payment and tax records tied to a completed sale.
You can delete your account and your personal data at any time. In the app, open your Profile, then choose Delete Account. Or email us at the Contact address below and ask us to delete your account.
When you delete, we remove your profile, your kids' sizes, your favorites, and your listings. Records tied to completed payments may be retained where the law requires.
Little Soles is for parents and guardians, not for children. We do not knowingly let children create accounts or collect information directly from children. The only child-related data we hold is the shoe size and nickname a parent chooses to enter. If you believe a child has created an account, contact us and we will remove it.
If we change this policy in a real way, we will let you know in the app or by email. The "Last updated" date at the top always reflects the current version.
